Emma sustained multiple injuries and a SARS volunteer critical care team were mobilised to support paramedics at the incident scene. On arrival, SARS volunteer doctor, Nicole Ebbs and SARS critical care paramedic, Joe Dowsing, assessed Emma before giving specialist prehospital treatment and accompanying her in the ambulance to hospital, monitoring her condition throughout.
We're glad to say Emma is now recovering well.
Thank you to all the team who helped me in my motorbike accident, you helped save my life. I can't thank you all enough and I will be forever grateful. Keep up the great work there's not enough recognition for what you do.
