Become a SARS clinical volunteer!

SARS operates a network of specialist solo and team-responders who are mobilised by the Ambulance Service when patients require urgent and enhanced medical attention before they reach hospital. We are committed to providing this service on a voluntary basis in and around Suffolk.

Interested in becoming a SARS solo- or team-responder?

You will need to be either a doctor with specialist skills applicable to prehospital care e.g., Anaesthesia/Emergency Medicine, or be an experienced paramedic with added skills. Other clinicians who have specialist skills applicable to prehospital care may also be considered.
