Welcoming Eight New Volunteer Clinicians

We are thrilled to announce the recruitment of eight new volunteer clinicians to our team. These passionate individuals have generously donated their time and expertise to serve our local community. Their commitment to saving lives is commendable, and we are grateful to have them on board alongside our existing clinicians, bringing the team to a current total of 40 clinical responders.

Lords Group Foundation’s Generosity

The Lords Group Foundation, a charitable organisation committed to making a positive impact, has stepped forward to support SARS. Their recent, generous, donation has been instrumental in ensuring our new recruits are kept safe as they attend the most serious medical emergencies across the county.

Specialist uniform has been purchased for seven of our new recruits, specifically designed for emergency medical responders, ensuring their safety and visibility at scenes.  Fundraising Coordinator, Kim, commented, "Proper attire is crucial for our clinicians to perform their duties effectively, and we are immensely thankful for this contribution."

Safety First: The safety of our volunteer responders is paramount. With the new uniforms, our clinicians can confidently respond to emergencies, knowing they are well-equipped and protected. Whether it’s a road traffic collision, a medical crisis, or any other incident, our team is prepared to provide immediate care.

SARS: A Lifesaving Partnership

Since 1972, SARS volunteer clinicians have treated thousands of patients, all without charge. We rely on voluntary donations to fund equipment, training, and operational expenses. Support from charitble trusts and foundations, as well as individuals, groups and businesses, enables us to offer the best possible service to the people of Suffolk and its surrounding areas.
