Tony Michell went into cardiac arrest in August 2022. A SARS volunteer critical care team were swiftly dispatched to the scene. Fortunately Tony's wife, Sheila, had already started the chain of survival by commencing CPR. Tony was successfully resuscitated and after several advanced interventions by the SARS team he was transported to hospital. A SARS doctor travelled in the back of the ambulance to ensure his condition remained stable throughout the journey. Thankfully Tony has now made a full recovery and has since returned to the golf course and enjoyed a holiday in Botswana.
